Meet Riverview Landing, Your New Favorite Off-The-Beaten-Path Hangout

City Hall East begat the Ponce City Market. A former meatpacking district begat Westside Provisions. And now, Jamestown Properties, the developers who worked their wizardry on the aforementioned locations, has given us 500 picturesque acres of a recreational and residential community area along the Chattahoochee. With raised beds built by Fresh Roots Farms, a tin roof marketplace with open air markets in the summertime, and a wooden stage right on the Chattahoochee, Riverview Landing makes for a pretty awesome getaway. And while you might not immediately think of Mableton, GA as a destination, a glance at the scenery — and the fact that it's a mere 20 minutes from the middle of our city — will have you packing a picnic basket and fleeing the concrete jungle in no time flat. Especially once we tell you about Riverview's Urban Hoedown this weekend.

Genius Heads and Project Bittersweet will be hangin' at the hoedown on Saturday!
